In Vino Veritas

My wine opener resembles an angel, which is a good thing — and not a good thing.  I mean, yeah, wine has always been a religious experience.  I get that.  The vineyards were created and toiled by nuns and monks since the beginning of time.  Now wine is made by the likes of Angelina Jolie (not exactly a nun) and Brad Pitt (not exactly a monk).  But I fast forward.  Angels spur my drinking trajectory into “In Vino Veritas”, the Latin phrase coined by Pliny the Elder, which is to say, “In wine there is truth”.   That’s what I’m drinking about!!!  (photo of Miraval rosé wine by RH)
